This letter is in response to the Aug. 21 letter to the editor written by Wendy Nash regarding “little league” football.
In reading letter, one thing became very apparent: She is not familiar with the youth football programs. They do not cut any child from their teams. Our coachers and board members are all volunteers and take great pride in coaching and teaching the children in our program.
The unfortunate part about this letter and the paper’s decision to print it is that the readers who may not know the truth about our program may get the wrong impression about our organization.
In the future, please do not write or print derogatory letters about volunteer youth organizations until you have all the facts.
