Wanted: James Thomas Legg

Legg is a 28-year-old male currently wanted for burglary and grand larceny. He once resided in the Seminole Drive area of Madison Heights, but is thought to be currently living on Deerfield Drive in Campbell County.

Below is a list of crimes being investigated by the Amherst County Sheriff’s Office.

Burglary, North Amherst Highway, June 2, the Apple Market was entered and cigarettes, candy and beer were taken.

Petit Larceny, Elon Road, June 1, a license plate was taken from a parked vehicle. 

Petit Larceny, North Amherst Highway, May 30, $58 in fuel was pumped and the driver left without paying for it.

Grand Larceny, North Coolwell Road, May 28, a number of scrap metal items were taken from a residence.

Grand Larceny, Seminole Drive, May 31, a Yamaha M08 keyboard, a Roland amplifier, a white Ovation guitar, Genz Benz XB2 and Genz Benz GBE600 amplifiers, and a Virtualizer Pro were taken from Siloam Church.

Petit Larceny, Gordon’s Fairgrounds Road, April 21, a calculator was taken from a classroom at Amherst Middle School.

Grand Larceny, Hilltop Drive, May 30, an Eska 7-hp outboard motor was taken from a boat

Petit Larceny, Madison Square, June 1, a purse and contents were taken from a shopping cart at Wal-Mart.

Grand Larceny, Payne Drive, June 5, a set of four Chevrolet Corvette 17” wheels, four Michelin tires, and four American Racing wheels were taken from a residence.

Petit Larceny, Monocan Place, May 31, a wallet and contents were taken from a vehicle.

Burglary, Lakeview Drive, June 6, an air conditioner, a Sony PlayStation 3, a Nintendo, a black briefcase, 150 miscellaneous movies and Nintendo games were taken from a residence.
